Flute notes(easy)

Flute notes range from a to g. There are high and lows, mid notes and ear piercing notes.

Exercise 1 - the A note

Put thumb, 1,2, and pinkie on the flute. Blow into flute. If it doesn't work check ombachure by rolling the flute a little so that your lip is just a little bit over the hole. Then blow. You should hear a very low sound.

Exercise 2 - the B note

Put thumb,1, and pinkie on flute. You should hear a low sound . Check ombachure as you did in exercise 1.

More notes will be available soon

How to play the flute

To actually play, you will need of course a flute and your body.

1. Put your flute together by taking the long part and connecting it to the part with the hole. Then attach the last piece.

Position your mouth over the hole and try to blow a sound. It sometimes takes a little maneuvering to get the right sound. You may get frustrated with the flute first try, but believe me, I was really bad at blowing one note when I was first learning the flute.

Exercise #1 Try to play the "A" note

A is simply putting 1 2 thumb and pinkie( otherwise known as left pointer finger, skip a space, middle finger, thumb on side bar, right pinkie on the first side key on the left.)

Flute#1 Putting the flute together

The flute is an easy instrument that, unlike the piano, you have to blow air into it . It has the same notes as a piano does and it has keypads you push on to make the sound. It consists of the head joint (part with hole), long section, and the pinkie/little finger section.

Putting your flute together

To put your flute together, you take the piece with the hole and connect it to the long piece with the metallic keys on it (the round metal pieces). Then you attach the short piece. 🌈

Great job ! You've just learned how to put your flute together.

Piano#1: Whatsa note? (Flute compatible)

The first thing with piano is that you need to know the key letters.
The first key on your piano or keyboard is the A Key. As you have now learned that the first is a letter , the other keys are letters too. There are seven letters, or notes, on a piano. The notes are a,b,c,d,e,f, and lastly, the letter g. It's kinda like singing the abc song and only going to g.

On a piano you'll find there are black keys and white keys. White keys are the keys that are just letters. But, Black keys are keys that consist of a sharp, which looks like a # (hashtag, number sign, pound sign, etc) and a flat , which looks like a skinny diagonal b. A lot of times when you hear songs on the radio the sounds that give the song pizazz are sharps and flats. The best way to find sharps and flats in music is to listen to Jazz or R&B music.

Have fun with your music
